Mike Panethiere

Michael A. Panethiere, P.E. is a Professor of Practice at the University of Kansas and teaches coursework in Electrical Power Systems Engineering and Construction Engineering Management. He is the Director of the Building Systems Electrical Lab at KU and serves as Faculty Advisor for the Student Chapter of Habitat for Humanity. He holds a BSEE and MSEE from Kansas State University. Prior to his appointment as a Professor at K.U. he was in Private Practice as a Consulting Electrical Engineer for 28 years, including 18 years as Principle of his own firm, M Panethiere and Associates, which he continues to operate with offices in Missouri and Kansas, He is a licensed Electrical Engineer and is registered to practice engineering in 22 states. He is a Senior Member of IEEE and is also a licensed Master Electrician and Certified Electrical Inspector.
